Twitty & Lynn: A Salute to Conway & Loretta
Saturday, May 3, 2025
6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. show
Reserved Tickets: $58
The Jensen Community Center in Amherst is excited to present Twitty & Lynn: A Salute to Conway & Loretta, featuring their grandchildren, Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn, on Saturday, May 3, at 7 p.m. A social hour begins at 6 p.m., with small bites from Grit & Grace Family Restaurant and a cash bar.
At the start of every show, Tre and Tayla share a glance during “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” that brings the electrifying chemistry of their grandparents to life. “Fans have told Tayla and me that when they see us onstage, they think, ‘Wow, there must be something genetic in those two families,’ ” said Tre. “It validates the experience of the concert for them. We’re telling our grandparents’ story through our story.”
Rather than impersonating Conway and Loretta, Tre and Tayla celebrate their music, the lost art of duet singing, and the beloved icons they call “Poppy” and “Memaw.” They’re not just performing; they’re carrying on their legacy, sharing their passion for family and country music.
